Statement of Purpose

The Duvivier Haiti Project, (registered as MoviCop in Haiti) is a community-based organization that aims to provide long-term relief and opportunity to local people.

The goal of the program is to provide local residents with tools needed to combat hunger, poverty, and become more economically self-sufficient. Long-term plans include starting and sustaining a farm and agricultural education program in the Plaisance community of northern Haiti.

Through sponsorship, we seek to improve the lives of the people of the Duvivier community, especially children, so that they may continue to lift up the lives of future generations.

Our Mission

The mission of the Haiti Duvivier Project is to improve the quality of life for people of the region, particularly those who are malnourished, through nutritional, educational, athletic and healthcare programs to bring to them new opportunities.

The organization's strategic objectives are as follows:

About Us

The Haiti Duvivier Project is a non-profit agency registered in the state of Florida to assist the poor of Haiti. This agency is supported by Haitians, Americans, Canadians, and other nationals in Haiti and abroad who are aware of the painful degradation that afflicts Haiti due to natural and man-made disasters. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of Haiti's people, particularly those who live in the rural areas through sustainable poverty-alleviation developments.

The Haiti Duvivier project began after several meetings took place between Pastor Amos Myrtil and community members in Haiti and the United States in an effort to address Haiti's extreme poverty.
